Always painting and drawing from as early as I can remember, it wasn't a hard choice to pursue my interest and passion in fine arts.

I began my serious studies at the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, with a BA degree in painting. It was here I was introduced to exciting new ideas, I developed my love of cinema and had my first tastes of travel and adventure abroad.

I enjoyed plenty of success with group exhibitions in London and the North East, before returning, this time to the Winchester School of Art to complete my Master of Fine Arts... once again specialising in painting.

I've remained in the South, keeping close ties with the capital, but living and working from a studio in hampshire. Photographs have become more and more important to my working practice, using them as sketches and even as collage on my canvases. I continue to drive my own projects and ideas as well as developing my commercial illustrative work.

Travel and a sense of adventure will always inspire my art and I hope the years to come will bring new horizons and fresh discoveries!
