I probably completed my first commissioned sign in around 1968, since then I have worked at various sign shops both in the UK and abroad. I also spent many years as a freelance signwriter. I reckon I have worked on most things in my time, from boats to trains, an airport roof, coffins, including two with occupants, pantomime sets, churches, motorcycles, leather jackets, furniture, The House of Commons London, A film set. (I'm sure i'll remember more in time.)

I trained at a sign company in Tunbridge Wells Kent that encompassed all aspects of the sign trade, including,traditional signwriting and gilding, silk screen printing, illuminated signs, exhibition and display work, vehicle lettering etc.

Following a short stint working for a sign company in Johannesburg South Africa, I returned to the UK and continued to work freelance until ill health forced me to stop in 2008

I hope to add to this portfolio of my work as and when I get the chance, I have only just begun at this stage...
