Retired in 2004 after a 36-year career with Caterpillar, as a Manufacturing Engineer. Been married since 1974 to Janine. We have two daughters who know more about trains than they care to, four grandsons who enjoy riding trains and operating my HO layout and one granddaughter, who is too young to care yet.

I am, basically, a Railroad Historian and Photographer, with a special interest in the GM&O, but have ridden and photographed trains all over the world.
