I am a veteran and am now retired and have been a woodworker most of my adult life. I started by using pallet wood and small electric tools, then went to a Shopsmith. Eventually it become to much trouble to be constantly changing from one tool to the next, so I was able to get a Sears table saw. From that point I started to build a woodworking shop one piece at a time. From that point I started to build furniture small pieces first then some larger. About 2010 I discovered turning pens.
