Almost all of my photos are taken as an adjunct to hiking. These days I tend to organize the pictures into sets that follow the progress of a single hike. In other words, I am trying to some extent to recreate the hike in pictures. The best way to view the photos then, is by the slide show on the set page.

This might be boring for some people, since summer hikes seem to all about GREEN, and winter hikes tend to be all about BROWN.

In addition, the pictures I take really need to be looked at at full size, since the reason I took the photo is often lost in miniature. I am all about micro-details the resolve AFTER taking in the macro pattern. Alas, great as it is, Flickr doesn't really support that in the slideshow function.
