A 60 year old native Oregonian who loves the Oregon outdoors and activities involving it.I have a strong love of music.My hobbies are hiking,fishing,live music of all types,bird carving,and naturally photography. I was a teacher and coach for 20 years.I work for the City of Springfield.I have three daughters.

My first camera was a Mamiya Sekor DTL 1000 in 1971,then boughta Pentax Spotmatic f.It was and still is my favorite camera. It took a bath in 1976 in the Deschutes above Crane Prairie.I then bought a Canon f1. Stopped taking pictures in about 1985.Recently have slowly gotten back into it, Just bought a Canon 450 d and a few lenses..
