I'm 58 years old and only recently developed a passion for photography! Thank goodness for the digital age! I bought a computer in 2005 and my first digital camera shortly thereafter. I love wildlife photography, particularly birds! In April of 2009, I bought my first DSLR, a Nikon D-90, and Let's just say......I LOVE IT!!! 4 months later I picked up a Nikon AF-S 105 mm VR F/2.8 Macro Lens to chase bugs and spiders around my backyard with! I've added a few ND filters and a circular polarizer to assist in my new passion....waterfalls! I particularly love the mountains of North Carolina and all the beautiful waterfalls that surround them. I only wish that I lived a little closer. I don't get to spend nearly enough time down there! P.S.....That fella in my buddy icon is my pal, Jimmy! He's one cool dude!
