Old enough to remember Pearl Harbor (I was 5), retired but never idle. Navy 1958-61 as officer on USS Mauna Kea and loved every bit of it. Intensely patriotic. Purdue grad, and MBA from U of Washington. Proud volunteer for our local Sheriff's Office.

Serious interest in photography is fairly recent, but I love how it makes me see things in new ways. Enjoy photographing everything around the Portland, Oregon area - street scenes, people, buildings, the riverfront parks, bridges, plus Oregon Coast beauty. Also law enforcement action and events. I put family pics on Flickr only rarely.
