Jim Brock is a performance photographer based in Los Angeles, providing images in promotional and live settings for publicists, labels, artists, press and media. His work is found in print, film, books, on walls across many time zones, and online. He currently shoots for justjazz.tv and was house photographer for The Mint nightclub in Los Angeles. Jim’s images have appeared in USA Today, Gambit, 504 Magazine, and Angelino, among other publications and will also be seen in the upcoming feature length documentary “Take Me to the River – New Orleans”. Recent interviews with Jim include photographer William Ellis’ “One LP” project and the documentary in progress “A Year in the Pit”. His camera rarely leaves his side when traveling across borders, or hunkered during a pandemic. He shoots with Sony and Fuji cameras and glass.
