41 y/o guy who lives in Portland, Oregon. Lived in DC for 16 years before that but am originally from Wisconsin.

I use Flickr to serve up images to my blog, and I like sharing my nature photos. I am a former park ranger and naturalist and still enjoy birdwatching and being curious. Feel free to correct the species names if I'm wrong!

I'm also a bit of a geek and play rugby too, so you'll see an odd assortment of photos posted here.

I use a Nikon Coolpix to take pictures, or sometimes my crappy Blackberry or cell phone camera. I envy most of your fabulous camera's photos.
