Second edition - living in North Queensland at Bramston Beach. Main camera is a Canon 1DX. The 7D has died, it wont focus any more. Shame. Most bird shots these days are from our property (Wyvuri Station), or short trips out to the region. We still have the business in Karratha and travel over frequently, so there will be some more dry country shots as well.

I only use Canon prime L series lenses, no zooms. Also 3 x Ziess manual lenses, very impressive glass (Ziess) I reckon, colours are better, and clear to the edge.

Main lenses are 800 f5.6, -400 f 2.8, -200 f2, -135 f2, -85 f1.2, -50 f1.2, -24 f1.4 and a 100 macro. Ziess is 15 F2.8 (fav) - 50 f1.4, - and 135 f2

Actually I do have a zoom, a 70 to 200 f2.8 is(ii)

400 is just amazing, I love it
