Reigning from the flatlands of Indiana, raised on corn and race car exhaust, Jill moved to Lynchburg with a degree in photojournalism from Ball State University. She started at The New & Advance in May of 2005 with prior internships at The Roanoke Times, The Lima News and The Star Press. Besides documenting Lynchurg, Jill also loves Neil Young, praising Jesus and foods that require syrup.
