I can be described as a simple enthusiast, but the fact is I love the freedom I get when I hold a camera in my hands. My first camera was a hand-me-down from my father, a Minolta from the mid-70s. [He was a semi-professional who learned his trade as Photo Mechanic while in the Indian Air Force. He used to tell me stories of how he used to wash film from forward mounted cameras on Mig-21s during the 71' war :)] Bottom line, I've been handling a camera since I was a kid, however it wasn't until recently that I have started to take a more mature interest into the creative process. Thank God for the digital age! I hope to learn from the best on Flickr.
