In years past, I shot film with a Canon AE-1 and let it go when life happened but always enjoyed photography and was told I had a gift.

I've been through a medical catastrophe since the Fall of 2008 that continues to to this day. I picked up a DSLR as a way to help me through my disability and have refound my love of photography. I've been doing mostly portraits and in general just shooting. I'd like to get out and do landscapes as well but my body limits me to what can be reached by vehicle for the most part. Most of my pictures are of children and infants and a few seniors. People keep telling me I should charge for my photos or that people would be willing to pay for the pictures I take. I've even had one person tell me that my pictures were better than the images they purchased from a "pro". I'd love to be able to make some money doing this here and there to support the passion that is developing. If people tell me I should charge and people are willing to pay me I see no reason not to not give it a shot.

I shoot with a Canon T2i/550D an 85/1.8 a borrowed 50/1.4 and a 35/2. Given the opportunity I'd like to exchange the 35/2 for the 35L. I have a couple of zooms I use in specific situations but like to stick to my primes. I'd really like to pick up a 5D mkII but need to start earning the money to fund it. When I do manage to get the 5D I'll add the 135L and a 100/2.8 macro to my lens list. I'm also considering a UWA zoom like the Tokina 11-16/2.8.
