Jhonathan F. Gómez (él/he/him) es un fotógrafo documentalista, artista, educador y padre de la Ciudad de Guatemala. Se identifica como defensor de derechos humanos y ha trabajado con organizaciones comunitarias y de derechos humanos en Guatemala y Estados Unidos por más de 15 años. Su trabajo está dedicado a la defensa de los derechos humanos, con un énfasis en los derechos de los inmigrantes e indígenas, y abarca la fusión de las artes, multimedia y tecnología. Sus áreas de interés incluyen el documental social, retratos y fotografía de la calle. La mayoría de su trabajo desde 2005 se ha enfocado en documentar movimientos sociales y el trabajo por los derechos humanos en Chicago, EE. UU. y Guatemala. Su manera preferida de fotografiar es en estilo documental, con retratos controlados.
