Former Mayor of Peekskill, NY and Westchester County Legislator for District 1 (Peekskill, Cortlandt and Yorktown). Although retired from political life and from his 33-year public teaching career, John is President of the Lincoln Depot Museum in Peekskill (lincolndepotmuseum.org) and continues to preservation local history and historic sites. He also continues his love for photography. John is the fourth generation to live and work in Peekskill since his great-grandfather arrived from Sicily in 1890.
