I don't consider myself a photographer, but an avid hobbyist with a lot of geeky quirks and an odd sense of humor.

I enjoy the outdoors, whether it be taking photos of wildlife, insects, urban areas or anything else I find interesting or funny.

Macro work has helped me overcome my my greatest fear from the age of two, spiders. I think that's the area I enjoy the most.

I find that the tiniest things in life have equally remarkable detail and personality that most people don't consider before squishing. Since discovering the micro world myself, I think it's sad that not everybody knows the true beauty in it. All insects serve a purpose.

I also like metal detecting, mountain biking, hiking, guns and target shooting, as well as various other non-outdoor hobbies, like computer repair, photo and video editing and I enjoy making silly videos for pranks, etc.

I married the absolute love of my life and the key holder to my heart at the age of 23, in 2001.

She is my best friend, wife and partner in loving all living creatures. Not all women would be so accepting and friendly towards all life and be just as gentle and caring.
