49 year old, single mum to a 26 year old. I have loved photography since being given a little Kodak camera for Christmas when I was 9. I bought my first SLR when I was in my early 30's studying for my degree to help with my final year project, well that was my excuse.

Over the last four years since buying a Sony DSC P9 4.0 mega pixel cybershot camera I have rediscovered my love of photography. I am now the proud owner of a Nikon D80, commonly known as Nikki, my baby, I love my new camera.

My partner Phil and I spend most weekends out walking either in Nottinghamshire or Northamptonshire and further afield taking lots of photographs and enjoying quiet time together revelling in nature as opposed to technology that currently rules our lives.

Some of my older pictures and digital manipulation can be viewed on my website which is at the moment very neglected and out of date.

Well I lusted over the Panasonic, then the Sony Alpha, fickle person that I am I settled for the Nikon D80 and I am very happy with it! Lots to learn. Wow old info, now shooting with a Canon 5D Mk II and studying for an online diploma with the Photography Institute!
