I've been meaning to write this for a long time. Nikki is honestly one of the most creative photographers out there, and puts her heart and soul into every single one of her photos, something that many people cannot do. She is by far one of my biggest inspirations. I remember when I first added her as a contact, every time i'd log onto flickr, she would always have a new photo each day for her 365. And unlike other people's 365's, she honestly put so much effort to create a truly astounding photograph every day. I hope she NEVER stops taking pictures because she is truly gifted and has an imagination like no one else!

The day she added me as a contact as well I was so excited. She is truly a huge inspiration and I admire her dedication to her concepts. The stories her photos tell are always so lovely. To be honest, I don't remember where or when I found Nikki's flickr but I am more than glad I did. It was probably about halfway through her 365, so every day she would be the first one I'd check on my contact list. Not only has it been wonderful to watch her grow as an amazing photographer, but to hear what is going on with her life which not everybody does on flickr- make it more personal. I love all of her ideas from her hairflips to phobias to the item collab. Even though the 365 journey is over she'll still be one of the first I check for updates on flickr each day :)

Seriously I was blown away when I found your 365, partly because you made use of what you had, specially only having a point and shoot. You truly are an extraordinary photography because it really isn't about the camera, it is about the person behind the camera. Going through your 365, it was a complete shock how you ended from where you had started. Your first picture was just a casual not very artsy picture you could see on Facebook (I hope that doesn't offend you at all!) and you finished with one of your most beautiful works. You are such an inspiration to not just me but so many others and I know you will go far in the art work.

Those nights where the world is before you with arms stretched out and all you have to do is walk forward and embrace it. Those nights where you stay up and laugh and love and think nothing of pain or fear. The one that reminds me of lonely walks through the woods at sunset when you see nothing but brilliance. The one that reminds me of the silent fears that are invoked when at a graveyard at night. The solemn, grave anxiety that eats at your insides, but is too lovely to let go of. The one that reminds me of beauty and acceptance. The one that told me that everyone is beautiful no matter what society says. The amazing one. The inspiring one. The fantastic one. That's the Nikki I know. She can make anything into a photograph; she can wrap a concept into a rectangle and convey it with outstanding accuracy and clarity. I find myself being unable to resist visiting her photostream everyday for either inspiration or guidance. Her editing is on a steady incline of improvement and, while she is excellent now, I am excited to see what she produces further down the road. Even without proper cameras and accessories, she managed to create worlds of her own. With a mind that you do not often find in this bleak world, Nikki is masterpiece herself. Your phobia series has been so inspirational and it has guided me to take images, similar to yours, that will be a part of my coursework. I can see such improvement with each upload, especially with your new camera, you capture colors beautifully and contrast them with your quirky dresses and home made props.
