I: I wanted to study printmaking, ended up in bookbinding, and from there I became a conservator of books and art on flat paper.

II: I began studying history, started conserving rare books in libraries, then moved on to work in museums doing exhibit design and archival work.

III: While finishing my history degree, I fell in love with photography.
