Jervaulx has travel in his spirit. He has travelled to over 80 countries around the world. In addition many of his visits to overseas countries were at times when these countries were not as accessible as they are today (eg Mali, Swaziland, Yemen, Somalia, Nepal, Vanuatu, and Romania).

He is not a professional photographer nor even a skilled amateur but he takes joy from the image, its colour, form, historical or geographical position or its story.

Photography helps bond his other range of interests.
