If not for the spectacle of Jerry's photos, I wouldn't have visited many of the regional park in the Bay Area. Simply put, his photos inspired me to travel to many local places. Once travelled to these places, I admire his work even more--the scenery and actions in his photos capture the details that we ordinarily wouldn't pay attention to. So I usually find myself going back to the same places again so that I can see the nature like he does. Thank you, Jerry.

It was fortuitous for me to meet Jerry Ting for the first time about a year ago in the Coyote Hills Garden. I'm proud say now that he is my friend. As amazing as all of his Images are, there's something about Jerry that goe's beyond. From what I see, his passion is unmatched, and his photo's beyond words. He gives us all freely, something special in his Images. I would beg him to one day write a book on his technique. But then again, the only thing that might stop him, would again be something unmatched, his humility!

Put your earphones on and start browsing Jerry's photostream. Instrumental music is the best (e.g., Mark O'Connor, Jan Garbarek, Vivaldi) but try also Balkan Horses Band, Chuck Mangione, k.d. lang's "Hymns of the 49th Parallel", and you're set for hours. Like the music, his photography flows, points, can be sharp and cutting, or present beautiful harmonies and contrasts. There is not a detail too many in his photos, nor a distracting color or shape. If a photo of mine is gets more votes than his, it will be framed. That will be a real accomplishment for me Bear Bonnell aka Danuta Majchrowicz
Read lessi personally have no idea who Jerry is. What I do see and know is his absolutely amazing photography! He never fails to leave me in awe. I have viewed the work of many stellar photographers, but Jerry's work stands alone and second to none. A true inspiration, I look forward to his daily updates.
As succinctly as I can phrase it: Jerry's bird photographs are inspiring to his fellow nature photographers. Yes, they are that fine!
