Some 60 years ago I started in photography as a photographer for my high school newspaper (anyone remember a "Crown Graphic"?) I was also involved in astrophotography at that time. Unfortunately, (other than a point-and-shoot) I've taken a 30 year vacation from still photography.
When the kids started sports, I found video. The kids are now adults, but I've retained my love for video. Because I've always loved the action of sports, I've returned to my roots in still photography and now focus on wildlife.
Some awards; Three times highly honored by Nature's Best Photography. Twice Grand Champion of the Ward Museum photo competition. Four time first place winner in the Conowingo Dam Bald Eagle Contest. Online images have been used by National Geographic (Wildlife Contest Finalist) and Audubon (Top 100). Published in Outdoor Photographer (Last Frame Image) and Washington Post. Plus numerous other honors.
