Hello there! Texas-born, and raised throughout the South, I am a mother to three, grandmother to two, living in a northwest suburb of Chicago. Art has always been a passion, for me, with photography being one of my most recent additions to artistic genres of exploration and expression.

For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to the spirit of the natural world, gaining fellowship and wonder amidst woods, field, garden or stream. As a child, I often “took to the woods”, exploring and defining creativity, serenity, and spirituality from all that surrounded me there. As an artist, photographer and poet today, my work strives toward creation of the rightful poem, essence captured, of that which has for decades captivated my heart and spirit around me.
