I was born in Magdeburg, Germany and I'm freelance photographer. I'm fascinated by the possibility, to experience captured emotions in a new way. That fits perfectly to my second passion - America's Cup racing.

The fascination with photography and the standard to always discover that special picture, has always been the deciding factor in my work. I entered into the professional world of photography after purchasing my first digital reflex camera. I began with photographing the nature in action. I take photos from the fastest sailing yachts, catamarans and the best sailors from around the world now since 2012.

The possibility of capturing the emotion of the moment, and rediscovering it in new ways, is what turned a hobby into my passion. My photos and reports have made it into Germany’s top magazines, among others, the Sailing Journal, Yachting Blue and the Welt am Sonntag.
