I'm Here!

I've been thinking lately about scale. Perspective. The curvature of the world and the shape of reality. Blissfully struggling to survive, intense as ever but at peace internally. No simple balance. Dynamic equilibrium. A blast of energy in every direction fed by necessity and the feeling that time and space are too soon going collapse inward, swallowing me. The external and internal world are so incredibly disjunct. I feel as though I'm finally using most of my talents but I look around and see that the society in which I live is so unactualized, so at odds with not only sustainability but also the most basic issue: survival of our species. As one NYC bureaucrat told me last year "It is like [living] in an alternate universe." I'm caught in the web just like anyone else. Struggling to inhabit the new paradigm now, before I'm part of it, unknowing.
