I bought my Nikon D40 on a whim last year to photograph a wedding, not imagining that I would I would fall so much in love with the world of photography! Flickr has opened up a whole new world for me. I'm learning so much, and I have seen so much incredible work already.

I'm a Michigan girl....so the seasons provide opportunities galore. I also have three beautiful cats (my babies) who love to work it for the camera. If anyone knows how to take a great shot of a black cat....let me know!!! My girl's a tricky one!

I welcome as much feedback as possible! One cannot improve without constructive criticism!

I like to have fun with my photos, and do not limit where I go, or what I photograph, even though I may not be comfortable at the time.

I dream of going on one of of those Nikon tours in Tuscany one day. Until then....my own little world, and the eyes of the world, seen through Flickr, will have to serve as my inspiration!

I do believe at this point in time I have become completely addicted to Flickr. (True confession.) It almost matches up to my addiction to Bejeweled.

I will always take advice!!! I don't have a handle quite yet on my controls, even after a year and a half, so I still rely heavily on automatic settings to do the "dirty" work. Unfortunately, I believe there are so many beautiful shots I've missed because of it. Again...hint hint....I would love some direction...if you see a shot that is good, but could be better...tell me how, and what I need to do to improve. No where else can I have access to the wisdom of so many incredible talents all in one place.
