i've been "snapping" photos of my favorite things since i was a teenager. i'm now 30 & i'm not an expert, but i love images. i'm still working the kinks out when it comes to technical stuff. i took a photography class several years ago, but my camera was stolen & i wasn't able to get the most out of my instruction. i welcome advice, because i want to get better. i know i have tons to learn especially about lighting. what i see in my brain doesn't always transfer & i would like to predict an accurate outcome. my muses are pretty much people(especially kiddos) & animals(i work at a fancy pet hotel), but i also love to take pictures of little treasures i find like my ceramic siamese cat from the 50's. i just bought a nikon d50 & my boyfriend bought a nikon d200. we're experimenting together & want to be a super creative team in the future. flickr seems to be just the community i've been looking for to give me the boost i need!
