I regard myself as responsible and reliable. I have become a perfectionist in my practical and paper work and pride myself in my attention to detail. I have a hardworking and passionate attitude towards projects.

I listen well to instructions that are given to me and if I do have a problem I will ask for help or for further explanation.

My passion for design is fuelled by my creative flare and drive to be individual.

 

Modelling skills:

Vacuum forming, CAD/CAM using sheet acrylic, blue foam- skills still developing, wood work, lathe turning (metal, wood, acrylic, model-board), plastercine, sewing, card modelling, fine detailing, spray painting, flexible plastic film welding and workshop training in a range of machines.

Computing Skills:

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Experienced in Solidworks, I am competent in the use of AutoCad, Graphite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver and 2D design. I am familiar with Pro Desktop.

GA and Engineering drawings produced on Solidworks to ISO standards.

Experience in embroidery and acrylic CAD/CAM.

Skills developed in the use of Canon 400D/500D 35ml Digital SLR and photographic studio and booth.

University:

Bsc (Hons) Product Design from Bournemouth University. I was also on an organisational team for the final year design show which came with many responsibilities, room layout and plans, name banners, t-shirt design and sourcing production, invitation design and making sure the rest of the course produced all work for the final year book on time and on brief.

Other:

Certified level C screen printer.

 

I have worked for Tin Horse Design for both my university placement year and a 6 month contract as soon as I finished my degree.
