TIME FOR AN UPDATE - 19 JAN 2009

I live in Cwmbran, South Wales and have recently completed a 10 week Open University photography course (T189). Since completing this I have purchased my first DSLR - a Pentax K200D, and now feel like I'm starting all over again.

In order to try and improve my photographic technique I have joined the Project 365 club and if you do not know what that it, it's when you take a photo every single day for a year. It's harder than it sounds, and my photos are sometimes completely bizarre and random, just so I can say I've taken a photo.

A lot of my older pictures were just uploaded as a back up to my hard-drive but I will gradually delete them as most of them should never have seen the light of day.

I am very proud to say that as of 5 December I had a picture appear on Explore (ok, so I know it's the result of some complicated algorithm and nothing to do with photographic ability, but it works for me!)

If I have added you as a contact it could be for many reasons. Maybe I know you, maybe you own the same camera as me (or one I wish to own) or maybe I just find your work inspirational.

I have also recently joined Cwmbran Photographic Society.
