Probably the stupdiest plot twist of all time has to do with Superman: Nobody, but nobody, can tell that Clark Kent is really Superman and the only single thing that is different between the two is a single pair of glasses. But then along comes JJ and suddenly that notion starts to make sense. She's got these glasses that any comic-book artist would kill to have invented. We don't know the origins of these glasses, whether they were made from a material that fell to the earth from outer space, but we want to imagine some kind of mythology of how the glasses and JJ found each other. We'd like to thank the glasses, after all, for magnifying what's behind them. And we'd also like to give thanks to the artist who takes effortless pictures of herself so that we can see her everyday.
