i like taking pictures... here, there, and everywhere. (well, everywhere except for the place i call home. sigh.) i've been doing it for years, but really found my muse when i went to the yukon for a spell, which, coincidentally, happened around the same time i went digital.

i love trees, wide open spaces, uncluttered landscapes, brokedown stuff, dead plants, and the requisite nature shots. i also have a soft spot for macro; i love seeing the little things that so many just pass by. i'm starting to enjoy shooting people (with my camera, not guns, just in case that wasn't clear), so looking forward to seeing where that takes me.

i'm not a big editor of my pictures. (although i've just discovered picnik, and may soon eat my words.) for me, the joy is in taking the shots. the part i don't like about digital is having to sit down in front of my computer to choose which ones i like. plus they tend to get stuck in the box. anyway, i will sometimes make a few adjustments, but for the most part, what you see is what you get. thoughts, suggestions, and comments are always welcome.
