Hello, I’m Jeni. I’m a photographer and artist living in Kingston, Ohio with my husband, and my 3 daughters. I am a full time homeschooling, stay at home mom, but in my free time I like to create art.

My interest in art started with photography in elementary school. I had a pink pocket camera that used 110 film. I took it on a field trip to AmeriFlora at the Franklin Park Conservatory in 1992 and got a really great photo of a trash can. haha! Fortunately my photography has improved since then. I enjoy taking photos of my family, details in nature, and whatever else happens to catch my eye.

I expanded into other art forms after the birth of my third daughter. I suffered from postpartum depression and anxiety that stuck around. As a way to calm my anxiety I started coloring Johanna Basford coloring books. That lead to watercolor, which lead to fluid art, which led to resin art. I basically just go where the ADHD leads me.

After I lost my brother to suicide in 2017 I looked to art as a form of therapy. Brad was a skilled musician and talented artist. I try to honor his memory and love of art through my own art. *see the testimonial below that he left for me back in 2010.

Thank you for your support.

Being so short allows her to get a unique view of the world, allowing and fueling her photography! But seriously, she always has a camera in hand waiting for that spontaneous capture that transcends words and description. Give her photostream a ponder and you won't be sorry for it, trust me.

I remember very well the pink Kodak and the photos from Ameriflora. There were some very..."interesting"...shots, to say the least. As you will see from Jen's photostream she still has an eye for the interesting details. I am always amazed and impressed at the way she can capture everyday life and make it art.
