Isobel, my standard parti poodle is the main reason I'm hooked on flickr. Izzy is my very first spoo, with more to come eventually! She is the sweetest, most gentle, loving canine I have ever been around. She stole my heart from day one. It's great to see the connections these amazing creatures have with us mere humans

I have truly been inspired by a lot of the beautiful photos on flickr. I am trying to learn to pay more attention to the pictures I take. Any pointers are appreciated! (in the spoo world and photography world!)

...since writing that, my poodle family has grown to three. I have had the pleasure of re-homing a delightful white female named Birdie, and a wonderful black male named Rupert. They complete our little family and I am still amazed at how fate brought them into my life. Everyday with standard poodles is an adventure.
