Oh, nothing much to say; just slipping with the sands of time - except that the granules are more like globs and the hourglass has shifted to something... somewhat... somehow... just unrecognizeable. At least I've seasonably luscious blooms in the garden, my devoted, fun, sensational kits, and perhaps some hardy humans to still care. Oh dear, I had a thought here just a while ago, and now I don't know where I put it; let me think... oh, that hurts. Is that it, over there...?
I like things a bit odd and quirky... can't you tell? Perfect is dull; so over-rated. Many - most - of my photos won't rank stars or ooos and ahs, but they're for me to have some fun and keep in touch with each day. Flickr is my photo album, or at least most of it.
I'm here mainly to look, try, and learn. I love the views and comments, of course, but never mind anything competitive. Just want to see life through your lens, mine, the camera's, and all those out there seeing the world in so many marvelous ways. What a way to travel! If I give some smiles through these etudes, so much the better.
Flickr has given me the chance to reach from my little corner to meet the world, beyond. Once I knew the greater planes, but now… just still, silent, sole. It has given me a chance to “look with new eyes” so the familiar, the usual, the ordinary can now hold bits of magic. It’s still by chance as there is so much to learn – and Flickr can be a hungry beast (requiring daily feedings and caution against errors that can stridently “Sweeper” away a moment of forgetfulness or confusion.) And rules… never a strong suit, as I think I can only respond to guidelines. But Flickr Friends, you're worth it – I love you dearly and miss you so much when you drop away! I can only hope that you are well and travelling along the planes of your own choosing. Be well, and thank you for the beauty, art, and craft you share!
I have realized just how special, informative, and encouraging all of your great comments are. If you make a personal comment, I'll do my best to respond in kind. I can't get to all the blank "stickers", though... but we all understand. Well, sometimes I don't understand perfectly, but I love the chance to struggle through languages I can barely pick through. Sometimes, I use this for a little help:
Amazing what we can teach each other! Cheers!
