Jemell’s dynamic vocal skills have placed him at the forefront of modern urban

music. Throughout the years, Jemell has performed at various local talent shows, and

community showcases. He has an intense passion for performing, writing, and producing.

Since 1993, that passion has been a key element to the performance arts troupe called

MWAH! with repeated touring success.

As a major part of the music scene, Jemell is currently working on projects with

several of the budding talents that Chicago has to offer. Jemell has been an essential tool

as a producer, writer, and composer for major and indie labels internationally including

Horse Drawn Production. In addition to Jemell’s current work with Horse-Drawn

Productions, submitting tracks to similar labels is one of his many gigs.

Jemell’s continual proficiency has had him writing and performing for Leo

Burnett, Coke Cola, Bacardi, Kraft, and other successful companies. Jemell, because of

his relentless dedication to performance, has shared the stage with professional

entertainers such as The Chi Lites, Kel Mitchell, Cap 1, Freddie Rodriguez, Aaliyah and

many others. His stage presence is polished with a unique style that enthralls his

audiences and leaving them wanting more. With the success of Jemell’s artistic ventures,

and the quality of his freelance production work, it is guaranteed leave a lasting impact

on the world for years to come.

Jemell’s current solo project has him forging a sound that is all his own, and yet,

is familiar to everyone. While developing as an individual artist, Jemell has expanded his

overall understanding of music.

Jemell, along with freelancing as a producer and vocal arranger, is presently training

vocalist and teaching production to a long list of up and coming artist, such as Joshua

Walton, and other local talent.

In addition to his vocal coaching, Jemell is the lead singer of a brand new band

called Giant Rockit. Approaching a new direction with his sound, Jemell has discovered

his rock voice and has written songs with the band. His live performance is intense and
