I've loved taking pictures for as long as I can remember. I ended up minoring in photography in college and was fortunate enough to have Keith Carter as my instructor! Since graduating in 1998, I've strayed from photography as an art and gotten sidetracked by the instant gratification of digital cameras and a snapshot mentality.

I've started efforts to break this awful habit and have picked up my ol' Pentax P30T and added a Holga to my collection. And finally upgraded to my very first digital SLR, the Nikon D80. I'm finding my passion again....now I just have to find the time!

I'm also a big Dallas Stars hockey fan, am obsessed with Marilyn Monroe, and take advantage of any downtime I can get with a movie from Netflix or a good book.
