El arte es la forma más expedita y democrática de exteriorizar los albedríos en el ser humano. Así como la cultura de un país se encuentra en la asimilación más óptima que tiene su gentilcio; el arte expresa todo el acervo intrínseco que posee el hombre y la mujer, desde los mismos albores de la humanidad.

 

Mi pasión radica, en capturar ese instante tan especial que se esfuma, con el tiempo y el espacio, para luego perpetuarlo en una imagen virtual (con el advenimiento de la tecnología) y, por ende, hacer que las memorias permanezcan siempre como testimonio de lo tangible.

 

Desde la centuria de 1600, la pintura era la reina de la transmisión real de lo tangible; luego, en 1827 surgió una técnica (inventada y perfeccionada por la mente del hombre) que llamaron, FOTOGRAFÍA. Esa técnica fue adquiriendo su propia personalidad para convertirse, posteriormente, en lo que ahora se denomina como Séptimo Arte (la fotografía estática y en movimiento_motion picture_ ). El valioso legado de la fotografía (desde hace casi 200 años atrás) ha permitido que la humanidad tenga intacta, hoy día, sus reminiscencias y ha contribuido, finalmente, a consolidar la iconografía en el mundo; aportando con ello, movimientos y corrientes escolásticas enriquecedoras del alma y espíritu humanos.

 

Para terminar, debo admitir que soy un obseso de la hermosa imágen femenina. Pues, reitero lo que una vez el gran fotógrafo y pintor estadounidense, Man Ray, dijera: "...Por lo que respecta a los desnudos, siempre han sido mi tema predilecto, tanto en pintura como en fotografía, y tengo que confesar que no hay que atribuir ésto a motivos puramente artísticos..."

 

BREVE BIOGRAFÍA

 

Danny Mclean Paz, es un fotógrafo independiente formado en el "Instituto de Fotografía de Nueva York" en los años 80´s. Luego de vivir en los Estados Unidos por algunos años, el fotógrafo vuelve a su país natal (Venezuela) donde trabajó con publicaciones de arte, cultura, deporte y espectáculos. Estando en la Gran Manzana, tuvo la oportunidad de conocer a un fotógrafo inglés que le motivo a que se hiciera fotógrafo. Éste fue, John Hedgecoe de quien posteriormente se nutrió de toda su bibliografía para convertirse en fotógrafo de modas y desnudos artísticos. Mclean también es, caricaturista, escultor, pintor y escritor.

Art is the most expeditious and democratic way of externalizing the wills in humans. As well as the culture of a country is in the most optimal assimilation that has its gentilcio; art expresses all the intrinsic heritage that has men and women, from the very dawn of humanity.

 

My passion lies in capturing that special moment that fades with time and space, and then perpetuate in a virtual image (with the advent of technology) and therefore make memories always remain as testimony the tangible.

 

From the century of 1600, the painting was the queen of the actual transmission of the tangible; then in 1827 a technique (invented and perfected by the mind of man) they called, PHOTOGRAPHY emerged. This technique was acquiring its own personality to become later in what is now referred to as the Seventh Art (still photography and movimiento_motion picture_). The precious legacy of photography (from almost 200 years ago) has allowed humanity to be intact today, his reminiscences and contributed ultimately to consolidate the iconography in the world; thus providing movements and currents scholastic enrichment of the soul and human spirit.

 

Finally, I must admit I'm a freak of beautiful female image. Well, I reiterate what once great American painter and photographer Man Ray, said: "... As regards the naked, have always been my favorite subject, both painting and photography, and I must confess that we should not attribute this to purely artistic reasons ... "

 

BIOGRAPHY

 

Danny Mclean Paz, is a freelance photographer formed in the "New York Institute of Photography" in the 80's. After living in the United States for a few years, the photographer returns to his native country (Venezuela) where he worked with publications of art, culture, sport and shows. While in the Big Apple, he had the opportunity to meet an English photographer who photographer reason to do it. This was, John Hedgecoe who later drew on all his literature to become fashion photographer and artistic nudes. Mclean is also, cartoonist, sculptor, painter and writer.
