I've had a camera in hand since childhood..

I developed my first roll of film at age eight, back in 1967. I had a Nikon F1 till it died after 35 years of service. I now have a Nikon D3. My prime lens is an 85mm 1.4 AF. I have many other lenses, but this one is by far my favorite.

I have worked with many formats; 35mm, 120, and 4x5. I had an old, fixed focus TLR back in the 8th grade and I used it to supply photos for our school yearbook. I wish I still had it.

Film cameras are rapidly becoming a thing of the past. The countless hours I spent in a darkroom are gone. My hands would smell like fixer for days. With film, you had to plan your shots carefully.
