As of this year (2007), I've just bought my first professional camera (Canon Rebel XTi) and I find myself studying photography a lot these days. I've surprised myself with how much I enjoy this new hobby.

I have a great many other interests in life. I'm passionate about music, having played guitar and piano for years and years and I love to sing. Currently, I just play in a local cover band, here in Springfield, Mo.

You can check out my band site here. I love fitness; weights, running, biking and even swimming, which is another new interest I just picked up a couple years ago. I also love competing in triathlons, and in April 2006, I finished the Ironman Arizona, which was the first triathlon I had ever entered. That's a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and a 26.2 mile run to finish with. It taught me a lot about a lot and I'm signed up for Ironman Florida this November, 2007.

I've also got 2 of the best dogs a person could ever imagine. They're full-bred Belgian Tervurens and if you aren't familiar with what that breed looks like, I just happen to have some pictures of them right here. They're fantastically beautiful animals. They're another primary reason I decided on purchasing a good camera. I guess I'm a bit like the guy that treats his dogs like his kids, since he doesn't have any children of his own. Ha! But.. someday, I'll take care of that dream, as well.

I'm passionate about life and I love my family and friends. Indeed, they make life worth living and I am truly fortunate and blessed in that area.
