"Busy, often too busy to interpret the things I enjoy most. I am of short stature, with an ear listening for the ice falling from the pines on a warm winter day and the call of the loon echoing along the lakes of the north. My nose is larger than most, but I swear I can smell a bear within a mile radius... Hair is beginning to grow where it should not be growing, and its beginning to fade to gray with the wisdom I attain from each passing day. My hope is to leave a lasting impact on the planet, providing people with enthusiasm and a desire to learn and experience all that life has to offer."
"Mountains are spectacular, they're mysterious, quiet, and the best of them are emptied of people. The sound of the ice sliding down a 55 degree pitch, and my breathe whisking away in the wind. The clank of the axe into a frozen waterfall and the bluest of skies beneath my soul. Finding pleasure in paddling historic waterways and seeking new adventure among rivers leaves the grandest memories cherished and stored in the heart for eternity. Resigned from SAR now and exploring North America's last frontier with the remaining four-legged companions and a wonderful wife."
"I'm not on flickr to be famous. I just enjoy snapping shots of trips and memories in the making. Please let me know if you'd like any of these photos and/or if you're interested in a trip as I'm licensed to guide in Maine and New Hampshire. Advise is free and if your climbing in the Andes, Alps, Rockies, Denali, etc... I may just want to tag along...... You can read the descriptions of Chamonix, France on the climb up Mont Blanc and places to stay in Alaska. I certainly give free tips on any trips if it helps someone have a better adventure... "
"I used to keep a journal of all my adventures, but now my journal is done through photos. I'm a professional photographer and these images are under copyright protection laws, so please don't steal them. My photos are memories of people, places, and experiences that have a deep meaning to my life. I hope you enjoy them... Cheers!"
