I am a semi-retired male, a laid-back but sincere, nerdy intelligent generally nice guy with a hidden edge.

I like writing poetry, reading books, bicycling, web surfing, building computers, target shooting, working on vehicles, ham radio (KB0AAJ), building and flying kites, taking photographs and all sorts of other stuff.

Of late, I have tried to be more intentional in my photography and post-production. Earlier images are much more informal and most are snapshots.

I like to take pictures of what catches my eye, family and friends.

Raised in northern Iowa. Was located in Foothills, NC. for many years. Now in SE Virginia.
