I live on Gabriola Island, BC Canada

I am relatively new to digital photography and my favorite subjects are nature related. Animals, birds, plants, bit of scenery. I have a Nikon D80 and use mainly a 70-300mm lens and in a perfect world would be able to afford a macro lens because I love taking pics of insects and flowers etc (as you can tell by my photostream I have a particular fondness for bees!) Also of course would love a bigger telephoto for birdies in particular...lots of bald eagles and gulls and nifty ducks around here that I would love to reel in!!
