I have always been fascinated by taking photos of man-made objects being overtaken by nature be they automobiles, decaying factories, or Mayan ruins.
I am also intrigued by the challenge of capturing in photos the Buddhist concept of motion in stability and stability in motion.
I believe a great photograph has the quality that Soetsu Yanagi describes in his book, The Unknown Craftsman as having "silence like thunder."
I live in Teton Valley, Idaho on our farm.
