I got my first SLR camera in 1974 , a good old Zenith E , and a Practika BX-20 in the late 1980`s. I have been a family historian , lol , recorder of events on film , an "occasional photographer".......if there was a family occasion then my camera was there too. For many years my equipment sat safely tucked away as life and other priorities came to the fore front. I was bought a couple of bridge cameras as birthday presents , a Fuji 5600 and a Fuji S9600 were my most recent acquisitions , until last christmas when I got a mega present , a 600D and lenses. Last year I met an old friend and between my new canon 600D and my friend , life is seen much more than ever through the glass of a lens , and the feeling is good and the future is bright.
