I've been into photography for some time now, pursuing it primarily as a hobby (well, until recently, at any rate). I started out shooting with a Canon Rebel XT and have upgraded to a Canon 7D. Both cameras have treated me pretty well.

My preferred style is pretty much across the gamut, including landscaping, portraits, events, etc. What I feel most comfortable with is candid photo-sniping and live event photography. I'd like to find the time to do more actual wildlife, but hey...I'm a bit busy here.

You may also notice that a large part of my pictures feature a certain little girl and boy. These are my godchildren, Adeline and Jake, and they mean the absolute world to me, so don't be surprised to see many more from them in the future ;-P

When I'm not behind a camera, I am deeply involved in writing, editing, and publishing. My preferred genres are Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror, especially those with an overall dark theme. Since October 2004, I have been the managing editor for Aberrant Dreams, Speculative Fiction, an infrequently updated webzine (URL below). Since Aberrant Dreams is a pro paying market, it has afforded me the oportunity to work with some of the best the genre has to offer. The first anthology is scheduled to be released in 2010.
