BSOWS ON FLICKR:

 

Birmingham Selly Oak Weather Station (BSOWS) is located within the inner suburbs of the City of Birmingham, UK, approx 4km south of the city centre. It is sited on the flood plain of the River Rea on the edge of an extensive area of open parkland and woodland. The altitude of BSOWS is approx 118 metres above sea level.

 

Weather observations are made daily and the data uploaded the the Met Office Weather Observations Website.

BSOWS also contributes weather data to the COL organisation (the Climatological ObserversLink) which publishes a monthly bulletin for all meteorologists and those interested in the weather.
