Bellingham, WA is my hometown. I grew up looking at Mt. Baker and the surrounding mountains from many different perspectives, mostly while riding with my father who was a local logger.

I later worked at Mt Baker ski area; first parking cars (before I was 18) and then as one of the 4 "Snow Control" techs for the 1973-74 season. When I started skiing there were 2 chairlifts and and 4 rope-tows. Austin and Blueberry ropes provided us with many hours of pleasure and sore arm muscles.

In 1975 I moved to Fairbanks, AK where, among other things, I worked on the construction of the Alaska Pipeline.

I the ScrumMaster for a remote team of educational specialists for ConsuLab Educatech in Quebec City, Quebec. Before that I was an instructor at Bellingham Technical College in Bellingham, WA 24 years.

Student centered learning, e-learning, web based learning and mobile learning tools are my hobbies.

Macro, landscape and available light photography are my interests.
