I began taking pictures as a young child, but never really pursued it. After ten years as an attorney, I came to the realization that my creativity had slowly been sucked away. In a Quixotic attempt to explore the other side of my brain and restore some sanity and balance to my life, I decided to try photography again. After fumbling around on my own for a while, I enrolled in a photography program at a local community college in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I took evening classes for a few years, but haven't studied in a few years. I I continue to work full-time, raise a family, and enjoy photography as a hobby. In addition, I recently opened an online store that features high quality writing instruments, mainly fountain pens, and related items.
