Hello, My name is Jared C. Kay.

I'm a mostly down to earth & humble person. I do not like to boast, yet I take pride in my work, and strive to be the best I possibly can. I am a photographer who wants to make good photos as much as you want good photos. If you feel a connection with my work, it is likely we would make a successful collaboration.

Located in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina,

I find I don’t need to travel far to find creative inspiration, and unique shooting locations.

I am 25 and Happily married to a beautiful hispanic girl, who was in fact my high-school sweetheart.

I am a technology geek. I have always loved gadgets, cameras, and computers (apple namely).

I enjoy mountain biking, snowboarding, and cars (honda's to be exact).

I love exploring the mountains & countryside with my camera, my wife, & my dog cookie.

I also have a thing for bookstores (a wealth of knowledge), and good coffee shops.

Experience:

Attended college for Broadcast Production Technology.

Employed by WAEN/WSQY TV for 2 years as an editor.

I currently operate an Asheville based Video Production Business : specializing in event coverage, promotional videos, and virtual tours. (www.amplified-media.com)

I am always studying & learning. Regularly attend the Digital Media Institute at BRCC (a great program for sharpening your skills by the way).
